Rock bands Bagatelle and Aslan will be rolling out the hits Friday August 4th and Saturday August 5th and Galway Girl Sharon Shannon will raise the roof on Sunday August 6th. If that’s not all, the funniest man from Donegal Conal Gallen will get the weekend off to a rousing start with his hilarious new one man show ‘Only Joking’ Friday August 4th. After taking over 18 months out to tour his hugely successful comedy play A Bit On The Side Conal Gallen is back with what promises to be his best show yet, jam-packed with over 2 hours of hilarious jokes, stories and songs which will have you in stitches from start to finish! Irish rock band Aslan return to the INEC stage Saturday August 5th, songs such as Crazy World, Too Late for Hallelujah and This Is have become Irish Classics and show just how popular the band still are. Bagatelle are celebrating over 35 years in the music business and are returning to The Gleneagle Hotel Ballroom Friday June 4th. Known for their popular pop hits such as Second Violin, Leeson Street Lady and everybody knows the iconic song Summer in Dublin which was a massive no. 1 in Ireland and has become an alternative national anthem with Irish people worldwide. Sharon Shannon returns Sunday August 6th to the INEC with her brand-new studio album “Sacred Earth”. This is Sharon’s first new studio album in 3 years and her tenth studio album to date. A ground breaking album once again from Sharon, Sacred Earth produced by Justin Adams, this album mixes Irish music with African and blues and features celebrated African Musicians Abass Dodoo and Seikou Keita as well as special guests including Finbar Furey and Alyra Rose .
